Rules on the replacement of cosmetics and perfumery products

Under Decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova no. 1465 of 08.12.2003, approving the rules for replacing non-food products and their warranty periods, perfumery and cosmetic products of adequate quality cannot be returned or exchanged for similar products, whether or not they have been opened or used.

Replacement of products with a manufacturing defect

Where a product has a manufacturing defect, the consumer is entitled to have it replaced within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase.

For a replacement request to be valid, the following conditions must be met:

• the product has a manufacturing defect and not a defect caused by improper use;
• the claim is accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt, order form);
• the product is in its original packaging.

How to request a replacement

To request the replacement of a product with a manufacturing defect, the consumer should take the following steps:

• contact customer support by email, giving details of the product and of the defect found, or go to the shop where the product was bought.

Within 14 working days the company will examine the claim and provide a solution in line with its replacement policy.
